How do I set up my first Zibt alarm?

Setting up your first Zibt alarm is quick and easy:  1. Go to the Alarm Page – Tap the "+" button to create a new alarm. 2. Set Your Arrival Time – Enter the time you need to be at your destination. 3. Add Your Route – Set your origin and final destination. 4. Include Stops – Add any stops you plan to make along the way and estimate how long you'll be there. 5. Customize Your Prep Time & Snooze Preferences – Choose between:    • A single estimate for your entire morning (e.g., 45 min).    • Individual time blocks (e.g., Shower – 20 min, Breakfast – 15 min), which you can toggle on or off the night before if your routine varies.    • If you like to snooze, enable the snooze option so Zibt can factor the standard 9-minute snooze cycle into your wake-up time. 6. Save Your Alarm & Prepare for the Morning – Once saved, make sure to open the app before bed to ensure the alarm goes off as scheduled.  Zibt will then calculate the best possible time for you to wake up while ensuring you still arrive on time.

Does Zibt work with public transit?

Currently, Zibt works best for car, walking, and biking commutes. However, our next update will integrate seamlessly with public transit—including buses, trains, and subways in major cities. So, stay tuned if you rely on public transit as Zibt will soon adjust your wake-up time based on real-time transit data.

Does Zibt work if my phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb?

Yes! However, to ensure your alarm goes off as expected keep the Zibt app open in the background before going to sleep and plug your phone into a charger overnight to prevent any interruptions.

Absolutely! When setting your alarm, you can enable snooze mode, which allows Zibt to factor in your 9-minute snooze cycles so you still wake up on time without cutting into your prep time.
