Tomas Zolofra

Tomas Zolofra grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey, before moving to Oceanport—right across the street from Blake Jaronko (CEO). The two became close friends in high school and maintained their bond through college.

After their freshman year, Blake approached Tomas with a simple but powerful concept: an app that ensures you're never late to work. Tomas immediately saw the potential—and elevated the idea further. "What if you were able to combine your alarm with live traffic updates?" That spark became the foundation for Zibt.

As co-founders, Tomas and Blake began building Zibt during their sophomore year. While Blake studied entrepreneurship at Wake Forest, Tomas—then a student at Purdue University—conducted user research on campus, gathering feedback through dozens of interviews. Again and again, students echoed the same sentiment: an intelligent alarm could be a game-changer for their daily routines.

Tomas played a pivotal role in building the founding team. He recognized the technical demands of the product and began recruiting talent. After speaking with more than a dozen developers, he brought the idea to Max Nickell, who instantly connected with the mission and eventually became Zibt's CTO.

Today, Tomas serves as Chief Sales Officer, helping guide Zibt's growth and go-to-market direction. He's focused on forging partnerships, developing revenue opportunities, and ensuring that Zibt reaches the people who need it most. From the start, Tomas has been instrumental in shaping the vision—and now, he's helping turn that vision into a business.
